KUALA LUMPUR: KLCC Property Holdings Bhd (KLCCP) has rolled out its three-pronged growth strategy to future-proof the group to ensure long-term business sustainability.<\/p>\n
KLCCP chief executive officer Datuk Md Shah Mahmood said the group will leverage its strong foundation and continue to improve on the operational capabilities and asset portfolio to achieve a robust performance.<\/p>\n
“We have also strengthened our approach to greenhouse gas emissions and established our net zero carbon emission pathway towards our aspiration of low carbon emission by 2050,” he said in a statement today.<\/p>\n
The group expects the recovery momentum to continue across all its business segments while being mindful of the macroeconomic, geopolitical uncertainties and the challenging property market.<\/p>\n
Its robust investment property portfolio will drive and position the group for further growth in 2023, KLCCP said.<\/p>\n
KLCCP said the group recovered succesfully in 2022 and is heading towards normalisation. There was a sharp 24.6 per cent rebound in revenue to RM1.5 billion from RM1.2 billion with a profit before tax of RM1.0 billion, an 80.1 per cent rise compared to 2021.<\/p>\n
The group declared a 38 sen distribution per stapled security, which translates to a 5.66 per cent dividend yield, the highest recorded since its listing. – Bernama<\/p>\n
