KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 25): Sunway Property, the property arm of Sunway Bhd (KL:SUNWAY), has set a RM4.2 billion sales target for 2026, supported by a RM4.8 billion launch pipeline across Malaysia and selected regional markets after achieving record sales of RM3.8 billion in 2025.

“Homebuyers today are more deliberate and value-driven. They prioritise certainty, liveability and long-term value, not just a unit. Our 2025 performance reflects the trust placed in Sunway Property to deliver, complete and steward communities over the long term. This continued focus and discipline underpins our RM4.2 billion sales target for 2026,” said Sunway Property managing director Chung Soo Kiong in a statement.

Projects supporting the 2026 target span key growth corridors. In Johor, launches within the 2,000-acre Sunway City Iskandar Puteri include the second phase of Sunway Sakura, alongside new serviced apartments and linked semi-detached homes, as well as the group’s first residential tower within the Bukit Chagar RTS TOD. Lifestyle components such as the Jeffrey Cheah Circuit and Sunway Puteri Hills will further strengthen the township’s integrated ecosystem.

In the Klang Valley, Sunway Property plans to introduce the second phase of Sunway Serene 2 and Tower C of Sunway Velocity 3. The Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre at Sunway Square, scheduled for completion, will further enhance the integrated lifestyle offering within Sunway City Kuala Lumpur. Penang and Ipoh launches include serviced apartments and retail components in Sunway Wellesley and the final landed phase of Sunway Bayu in Sunway City Ipoh.

Beyond residential launches, Sunway Property is advancing major transit-oriented and industrial developments as core growth drivers. These include the RM4 billion Bukit Chagar RTS TOD in Johor and the RM2 billion Seremban Sentral TOD in Negeri Sembilan. The group is also expanding its industrial portfolio through Sunway Rawang Managed Industrial Park in Kuang and Equalbase Sunway 103° in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, supporting logistics, manufacturing and digital infrastructure demand.

Regionally, the developer is preparing Pinery Residences in Singapore and a new condominium block within Sunway Gardens in China as part of its measured expansion strategy.
